I feel very warm for 20 minutes and after that I feel very cold like for hours now in the winter.. I can imagine that is a big stress for the body.. I will stop it for now because I ordered( I know I said I am done with supps lol, but I was ordering K2 drops and I saw in the shop good brand of TUDCA Double Wood) So I will try it again if it does any good to for liver, bile flow. If not I am done with it for sure. 😀
You could try maybe 1/4 a pill instead maybe.TUDCA I am not a fan of since my issues with Vitamin A started, it makes my stools pale or yellow and gives me liver pain and itchy skin, seems to induce cholestaiss in me, Dr smith is right about that one I think secondary bile acids like tudca are toxic.

Quote from Jiří on January 25, 2024, 7:15 am@alexm I don't think TUDCA would be so popular for fixing liver/cholestasis for so long if it was liver toxic. Doesn't make any sense. But depending on individual it can cause some issues like everything that's for sure.. From what I know taking ox bile does nothing systemically and it just helps digest fatty foods, but TUDCA works systemically..

@jiri I don't know about that, I've seen someones liver protocol where he advises the people to take TUDCA and he tells people its supposed to cause pale stools because he says thats a bile dump lol. Pale stools is definitely not a bile dump every time I've taken TUDCA its messed up my bile not made it better. When I took TUDCA before I had vitamin A toxicity it never got rid of my gallbladder and liver pain and just temporarily masked it. Smith also said that TUDCA never helped any of his clients fix their liver issues before they worked with him, and thought that it was just storing things deep inside the liver.
An increase in secondary bile acids has been shown to cause liver toxicity and cholestasis. Ox bile doesn't mess up my bile and helps it, I recommend that ARL product GB-3 that has black radish(copper antagnoist), (cholic acid) from ox bile and pancretain, this product actually moves bile for me and detoxes me.

Quote from Jiří on January 25, 2024, 8:28 am@alexm I acknowledge your experience. But I really can't take as an argument what Dr.Smith said. He said a lot of stupid things. For example that copper is just toxic metal not essential for our body. How dangerous is that to push BS like that on people.. Once someone ends up with aneurysm or stroke because copper deficiency caused collagen breakdown will he use that case in his videos as testimony? I don't think so.. To me Dr.Smith is equivalent of Morley Robbins now. I just can't take him seriously..

How long has it been since Grant took in more copper?

Quote from Deleted user on January 25, 2024, 4:47 pmThe anti-Garrett crowd is ironic. Plenty of talk about him good and bad. It all indicates a level of comprehension that is about 5% of what he is publishing. At first I felt like giving you all the cautions needed to do nicotinic acid well. I thought better of it since Garrett is and has been publishing it openly all along. Including why he changed directions 180 degrees.
This is the same as twitter wars where warring parties refuse to read each others' posts and go on to criticize every thing they THINK the other person said. There is a growing group of us doing well with nicotinic acid (NA) supplements. It is crazy cheap, easily purchased. If you want to avoid Garrett on youtube's nutrition detective livestreams and on twitter @nutridetect, then perhaps you can learn from Kelsey Kenney's research and experience on twitter @kelseykenney144. She has published excellent articles on buying guides, how to, precautions and on.
For background you might consider similar strife that went on in similarly oriented organizations in last 100 years. Abram Hoffer did great work with Bill Wilson getting amazing cure rates in AA until the Rockefeller infiltrated board forced Wilson out accusing him of practicing medicine without a license. And AA's cure rate immediately went back down to the same level of success that addicted folk have while breaking free on their own without support.
Have a good day and perhaps play at being more open minded. Look at the sources you are so critical of a bit more than you already are? It sounds like most here are arguing about the evil guy they knew that did something so long ago that they now have no idea other than what they heard from a friend of a friend about what that guy is saying today years later. And they are only dissecting 2 minute spurts.
The guy puts out 3 hours of youtube livestream per week free. You can ask him questions in the chat. He and a group of more experienced members will answer your questions. He posts scads on twitter for free. His network lets everyone argue out ideas same as here, with vastly more experience and pertinent research for $100 a year.
What I will caution you on is to increase and decrease your doses slowly. Only go with nicotinic acid. Even then there are companies producing crap. Kelsey Kenney has lab ability to test brands and does. Keep your doses under 150mg if you are not buffering. And please do not play too hard with the idea if you are not going to give Garrett and Kelsey their due diligence.
Thank you and good night.

Grant is not taking copper antagonists like zinc and molybdenum on daily basis. BIG difference.. His diet of red meat and rice with beans is actually pretty balanced in terms of zinc/copper intake and ratio. But Smith is pushing his supps which is combination of copper antagonists. Many people who follow him have no idea what is their copper status and take them daily. That can cause issues over time..
Btw I watched ALL his streams on youtube from the time he started his youtube until recently. It goes back years and years So you can't be more wrong about what I know about Smith.. At this point he just keeps repeating and insures himself with info that is convenient and useful for his business and protocol that he established. There is zero confrontation with different ideas in fact he keeps repeating that everyone who is not his YES man will be just deleted..

Quote from lil chick on January 26, 2024, 6:28 amSo interesting about the AA connection. I'd like to read more about that.
I guess I did already know, from some long-ago nutritional reading, about the vicious cycle of B3 being deficient in drinkers, and that B3 deficiency also leads to alcoholism.

Quote from lil chick on January 26, 2024, 6:38 amSuper interested to find that pellagra (niacin deficiency) can result in Malar rash, which is something I tend toward.
I decided to finally stop my daily alcohol drink this New Year, and I'm finally comprehending how I've been in denial about the toxin I've been ingesting for 40 years. DERP

@lil-chick
I think you mentioned how you enjoy peanuts, peanuts are a good source of niacin. seems like your body is in tune to what it needs.:) (I am not implying you are an alcoholic, lol)
