No estoy interesado.

How dismissive.  One of the least persuasive arguments heard.  You have a right to your opinions as do I.  Regardless of who else holds those opinions.  Divert burden of proof on all paradigms all you want.  The irony is not lost that all the appeals to authority and condescending insistence on dogma is occurring on a blogsite dedicated to questioning fraudulent science dogma going back decades.  I will continue to look at data, consider possibilities and avoid reaching any conclusions that require such rhetorical gymnastics and commitment to defend.  We are all knuckleheads including your favorite antihero Garrett Smith.  We are all muddling through as best we can, testing ideas on ourselves and comparing notes.  If you are so disinterested in my comments feel free to stop responding and keep eating those eggs.  Thank you.

Smith was sickly white and pale on a diet low in vitamin A and zinc and molybdenum supplements; his skin changed color when he began donating blood. therefore Smith is very toxic in iron and deficient in copper. If you don't donate blood your health would be very very bad.

I've been pale my entire life and grew up drinking tap water out of copper pipes and taking baths in that water as well (and eating lots of chocolate). Being pale is not proof someone is low in copper. But maybe it is evidence that we absorb far too much iron, copper makes you absorb iron. My serum levels of iron have always been upper range of what would be considered good levels. Thats with giving birth to two children, breastfeeding for many years and menstruating. So blood letting is necessary.

If you are iron toxic your copper levels are not good. The pipes are inorganic copper, the dark chocolate is the same as the liver, high in copper but very high in iron. When you take copper and iron-containing foods, you have to donate blood, you lose iron only through the blood. copper mobilizes iron from the liver. you are deficient in copper and you have it accumulated in the body and your iron goes up

Nice characterization aka ad hominem.  So agreement with anything Garrett Smith says on this blog is de facto a mistake.  You might be right about everything stated here.  While we are at it on a blog site specifically written and maintained to question fraudulent decades old dogma, let's site and completely believe with out question the dogma on other paradigms.  Like hmm let's say vitamin A?

https://medium.com/@danielaslam/role-of-vitamin-a-in-growth-and-development-58099264dac2

Role of Vitamin A in Growth and Development | Medium

If you choose to believe the dogma and accept it outright on vitamin A more power to you.  I might be wrong about that one too.  What I am 99.999999% certain about is that it is insultingly ironic that you would push that dogma on a cite devoted to questioning that dogma and condescendingly ad hominem attack anyone who does it.

Your purpose is clarified by your goals.  If your goals are the opposite of what you are achieving then perhaps you are lying to yourself and others what your goals are.

No you can agree with stuff he says, and he is right about some things. However everything you write on this forum seems to be based around his views. And it seems like you come here just to argue with people, as you know a lot of people here disagree with his views. So it's just a waste of your time and everyone else's. If you wanna speak about his ideas the whole time why not just stick to his groups?

Yeah and that gives you copper toxicity which causes a functional deficiency of copper, so it would make you look pale. When your body is in control of iron and copper properly then you should have good colour in your face.

But how do you do that is the question? I mean I'm sure I've had periods where I had better color. How do you get your body to have bioavailable copper if your tissues have too much?

@janelle525 you need good bile production and flow, good thyroid/adrenal function and you need good balance of micronutrients in the diet. If you have that your body will be able to keep copper bioavailable and will be able to eliminate any excess.. For females is huge problem estrogen excess/dominance. Once you take birth control pills you end up estrogen dominant, you develop cholestasis and you start also retaining more copper. So basically copper is building up in your body and because you have no bile flow you can't eliminate it properly.. This is going for some time you start to have issues with thyroid, adrenals as well  and that is very hard to fix scenario..

This study from 2023 says copper >deficiency< leads to NAFLD:

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0955286323001353

It states:

"Hepatic copper content in adults with NAFLD is 40% lower than that of healthy controls and is negatively associated with disease progression with a further 30% deduction in NASH patients compared with NAFL patients [21]. Similarly, hepatic copper content is >25% lower in pediatric patients with NAFLD versus controls [22]. In addition, the low hepatic copper content is also found in patients with metabolic syndrome or type two diabetes, which are risk factors for the development of NAFLD"

@jessica2 I believe I believe one of the comments in this thread said high fructose consumption also leads to either copper deficiency and or NAFLD?  I used  to eat a ton of fruits the first 3 decades of my life and my gastro suggested NAFLD for for my increase in liver enzyme but it was just a flare up, mostly normal now even though I have had hep B probably since I was 3 years old.  I'm starting to think I might be copper deficient but a ceuroplasm test 4 years ago showed normal copper... Not sure what to make of it, or how to know for sure?

@janelle525 You need to detox the liver by getting rid of all the excess Cu1 thats stuck there, which will be stopping your liver from making ceruloplasmin, adrenals need to supported (you can use an adrenal glandular) they are needed to signal to the liver to make ceruloplasmin and you need to be getting plenty of potassium in the diet to support the adrenals, cut out refined sugar and caffeine these weaken the adrenals and refined sugar feeds pathogens which steal your iron and other minerals, make sure you're not living in mold (this made me pale and sickly looking), my opinion is that the body shuts down its iron metabolism when exposed to mold as a protection mechanism to stop feeding the mold.

When I went low Vit A and was taking copper antagnoists I was deathly pale and didn't look good and my body was disgusted at just the thought of taking copper, I did coffee enemas for months daily with pectasol and then I started to feel like taking low dose copper and this time copper would actually work as it should do and I had great colour in my face and I looked like I was 18 again. Phosphoric acid also produced the same effect with the colour in face and looking younger as copper did. And phosphorus is needed to metabolise iron, a lot of people have low phosphorus on hair tests which will indicate low ATP.

The TEI supplements for slow oxidisers also gave me colour back in my face.

@jiri Dude I never said it did nothing, I know it's supposed to have some benefits for the liver otherwise people wouldn't use it. My point is I don't think it fixes anything. I think some people in here have used TUDCA too.

Probably too late now, but if I were you I would take jarrow bile acids factors which contains all the types of bile acids including tudca, rather than just taking TUDCA on its own. I've tried the jarrow bile acids factors in the past and it didn't cause me issues like the tudca did and that makes more sense to me to take all the types of bile acid at once rather than just one isolated one.

@alexm I just ordered the jarrows, my stool has been more on the yellow side which supposedly means low bile. Haven't had darker stools since I can no longer eat beef without causing a pinch in near my sigmoid colon and a couple of weeks of hell and laxatives to clear it.  Anyhow I hope it works,$36 , things are getting expensive.
