I don’t sunbathe really. I swim at sunrise and stay in the light a bit when I come out. Also when I wash my hair I dry it in the sun. I am not bothered by the sun when I walk. I used to get burned in the sun as a child but now this never happens. My husband would be fried and was allergic to the sun, with blisters and headaches. This never happens now. I have not tried sunbathing properly recently because I am awfully busy and we live in a town with just a balcony. I hate it when there are other sunbathers or swimmers near me, so I don’t go to the beach. At sunrise there is only a group of old people, the « winter swimmers » and they are very quiet.

@ourania

Thank you, @ourania. I live next to France in Switzerland. I don't think shipping will be a problem.

What other laser helmets have you tried but ended up sending back?

EDTA: The reviews for Nooance Paris are overwhelmingly positive on Trust Pilot: https://ch.trustpilot.com/review/nooance-paris.com. I've also emailed the company. Now that you've raised issues with inferior products from China (which is the overwhelming origin of production for the majority of all tech products), I was also wondering if they actually produce somewhere else.

EDTA 2: Nooance Paris also sells facial masks. This may be of interest to others interested in skin health. I think Ourania once described red light as a nutrient. From all my experience with it, I suspect this is a good description.

@christian I don’t remember the brands I had bought before on Amazon. In one some of the LEDs were not working, in the other the timer was deficient and in both the number of LEDs was much less. Also they had no laser lights. The presence of laser lights in the Nooance means you can only use it in an upright position as there is a security feature that ensures you cannot look into the helmet when it is switched on.

we both have been using it every other day since 1st December and had no problems with it.

@ourania

It sounds like you got your hands on some poorly made helmets. Nooance Paris certainly looks legit. Also, I got an email pretty promptly, it was in my inbox on Monday, less than 24 hours after I inquired. They do manufacture in China. I think the quality can vary a lot depending on what standards are used. It is obviously short-sighted to assume that China as the assembly of origin always means bad quality. The stereotype is still very strong, including my head. For supplements I generally prefer US made, it's even more prudent to look for good quality when supplementing vitamins and minerals because we ingest them (can recommend http://www.vitaspace.com. It takes time and patience to work through an order, but the quality is always top notch. It's not like, say, bulk supplements where the whole buying process is automated. You actually work with Peter one on one).

1) Manufacturing Location:
Our LED helmets are designed in France by our engineers in our offices and manufactured in China. China is currently the only producer of high-quality LEDs in the Beauty Technology market. As of now, there are no manufacturers in Europe that meet these standards, but once such options are available, we will reconsider our choice.

2) Difference Between Laser Helmets:
Our helmet stands out by combining both LEDs and lasers, offering cutting-edge technology.
  • The "Beauty and Regrowth" helmet features 69 LEDs and 51 lasers. It is designed for individuals experiencing hair thinning due to moderate hair loss without any underlying condition, often related to age, stress, or intense dieting.
  • The "Anti-Hair Loss and Regrowth" helmet, on the other hand, includes 200 red LEDs and 82 lasers. It is intended for individuals with specific conditions, such as androgenetic alopecia. This version provides a more intense treatment, leading to better results.
3) Customs Tax for Shipping to Switzerland:
The payment on our site will be tax-free for Switzerland. Afterward, depending on the canton of delivery, customs taxes will range between 18% and 22% of the total purchase amount.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are always here to assist you.
Thank you once again for your trust in NOOANCE.
Best regards,

((EDTA: I had more questions and got this answer:))

Thank you for your questions. I’m happy to provide more clarity.Difference Between LEDs and Lasers:
Both LEDs and lasers emit light, but they work in slightly different ways:
    • LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes): They emit light at a broader spectrum and diffuse over a larger area. LEDs are generally used to target the surface of the skin, helping to stimulate cells and boost collagen production or hair growth.
    • Lasers: Lasers emit concentrated, focused light at a specific wavelength that penetrates deeper into the skin or scalp. The precision of lasers allows them to act at a cellular level, targeting deeper tissues and providing more intensive treatment. When combined with LEDs, lasers enhance the overall effects of the treatment, working together for optimal results.
Helmet Usage While Lying Down:
While the helmet is designed primarily to function in an upright position to avoid light exposure to the eyes, it can still work if your head is slightly tilted or if you are lying down. The helmet will continue to deliver the same level of treatment as long as it is properly positioned on your head.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Results after 4 years and 11 months

After nearly 5 years on the extra low vA diet, nerve pain does not happen anymore for us. Sometimes, after doing too much/too much stress/ night out with (not so good) drinks, we have a few cramps when waking up, but after a couple of days it all goes back to normal. The strange thing is we still had some nerve pains until last august, even though minor. Nothing since and also it seems that in general we have passed an important point.

What has helped spectacularly recently :

  • red light therapy. We used it on our hair and it worked wonders. Because it worked so well I tried it in other places after having ordered the mask from that Nooance company (received 1st October). I used the Vielight nasal probe in my ears (better hearing measured by ability to tune the instruments). At the moment it is still inconsistent, better one or two days then worse for a day or two. A little cerumen is coming out too. I used the mask on the thyroid (nothing wrong there, supposedly) and it gives me energy. Currently using also it on my face. It seems I see a little better, and I get ticklish eyebrows (or what's left of them).  All of this quite positive.

  • sound. I get sound massages. This is done by a lady who positions brass bowls over my (dressed) body and hits them softly. Incredibly this works!!!!!! I do listen to music and play it too and sing but this sound massage is vastly superior. Unlike the red, which works topically, this is a general thing, and I suspect works through the brain. It gives me a very alert mind for a week, with the ability to fix problems in my practical life that had lingered on because I was not energetic enough to do maning things in my day PLUS healing from vA injuries. My life is simpler and more controlled. VERY USEFUL! Using the BAST method.
