Rapid Gum Recession

A vinegar enema?!  I hadn't heard of such a thing until you said it.  Maybe the stringy things are not candida, but rather mucus because you are irritating the hell out of your colon...

You should be absorbing the vast majority of nutrients in the small intestine, not the colon, so even if it is truly candida coming out with the enema, that only reflects the contents of your colon.

It's definitely not slime. Maybe some biofilms, but I don't think so. It looks like scraps of white thread, and it's hard to confuse it with slime. And it's definitely not part of my body.

Yes, I know that most likely not only the colon, but also the small intestine is populated by.. this. But I have no idea how to get it out of there.

I also did iodine enemas, with the same effect.

Could it be a parasite?   I think it is probably the norm for people on Earth to have had parasites.  The google machine tells me that pin worms are the most common.  Maybe you could see if horse paste helps.  I think this is an artists rendering, don't let it scare you too much haha

Pinworm Infection: Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Prevention

I don't think, it doesn't look like worms; but it does help with some of the symptoms.

I just had another bout of terrible gum inflammation and I was not taking thiamine this time.  I was eating shredded coconut though, and I realized I'd been eating the same shredded coconut the last time I got nasty gum inflammation.  So, I think I misplaced the blame on the thiamine when it's actually something to do with coconut...but what is it in the coconut?!

I don't think it's the saturated fat because I don't get these gum problems from eating piles of saturated animal fat.  I also never got this problem from eating coconut oil, although I haven't really been eating that in quite a while.

I don't think it's from the salicylates because I don't get the gum problems when I eat other fruit with salicylates (berries).

I don't think it's related to the fiber content because I didn't get the gum problems while taking psyllium and/or eating other fruit (berries).

Does it have to do with the monolaurin or some other compound?  Weren't some folks here discussing a compound found in wheat and rice that was also present in coconuts?  Can't remember what it was.

I should also mention that eating shredded coconut seems to result in the wicked yellow watery diarrhea I've gotten in the past, and I would bet the gum problems and the diarrhea are connected.  I happened to have a food sensitivity test done recently (Oxford MRT) and coconut didn't show up as a problematic food...I don't really have any food sensitivities according to that test and I've never been able to identify any myself.

Tocotrienol you mean?

@daniil

Oh yeah, it was tocotrienol I was thinking of, thanks.  That's probably not what's bothering my gums though...

Well... I've read quite a lot about tocotrienols, but I haven't come across anything about the connection of tocotrienols and gums/gum recession. But it is obvious to me that these compounds are toxic for humans, the only question is whether it is possible to react to the amount contained in food. I have also seen studies on the topic of immunity and I must say that they have inflammatory effects (for example, increased production of antibodies to tetanus antatoxin, does it remind you of anything?) ). I wonder what this gum recession is. If it's an immune problem/autoimmunity, then there really may be a connection.

I think I have found a better explanation?

@daniil

I'm not eating cocoa, I'm eating coconut, and coconut is very low in oxalates.

I think I might've figured it out though...it could be the arginine content of the coconut, which is encouraging herpes, which is inflaming my gums.  I've seen little white dots on my gums occasionally, and I was pretty sure they were from herpes even though I've not been getting the classic cold sore symptoms.

Apparently gelatin is also high in arginine, so I should probably also watch the bone broths I've been making.  Maybe the worst gum problems happened when I unknowingly was eating both coconut and broth day after day.

Has anybody else had problems with herpes while doing low VA?  Is this an indication that I'm low in nutrients, like zinc, or is it more likely from immune suppression from Vitamin A?
