2,000 mg in divided doses.

This was from Bella (on my phone).

Day 6:

Oatmeal, Brazil nuts, white rice ground beef artichoke, turkey black bean noodles ( only ingredient is black bean). Lots of. Vitamin c absorbic acid, and Magnesium zinc.

Still not much improvement on the face. Beard has a rash and very very itchy. I am noticing less joint pain as I felt my costochondritis was flaring up before the diet but that has now subdued.

Also had a bag of licorice candies .. Hope that's okay lol

From what I can gather with a quick internet search it doesn't seem to contain any A.

Did you have red or black? Black licorice quite often contains gluten but if you're not sensitive to gluten or a celiac sufferer that might not matter. Some people are avoiding gluten as part of the vitamin A detox though.

No never had a problem with gluten. I always loved licorice it's black.

Day 7

I woke up today with a bit of a sore throat. Surprisingly, my beard wasn't itchy at all and a little less red than usual on the left side. Still have the Seb derm eczema lesions under there but the itching and burning was about 80% less than usual. Not sure if my immune system is too busy fighting the infection to bother me lol.

Diet:

Oatmeal maple syrup honey, turkey potato, had a chocolate and a date cake at work hey its Xmas. Dinner black beans noodles and turkey and cauliflower. I took a lot of vitamin c and at night had a shake of taurine and glutamine.

I don't want to get excited yet lol

Getting infected might use up some A but it also seems like having too much A makes you more vulnerable to getting infections- balancing act I guess.   Dr. Smith and Grant came to the conclusion that detox might take 6 months for many.   I heard this today on Dr. Smiths latest facebook video.   Watch/listen to it soon if you want because it might become a paid for thing soon.    For me I think it will take much longer.  Along with too much A I also have too much iron and copper (confirmed by blood tests)  and may explain why after 3 months I have had little improvement in my vA toxicity symptoms.

Thanks I did listen to his videos. Trust me I have done way more complicated and utterly torturous diet. For me this diet is a walk in the park. I can last on it forever. I just want the skin to heal for now thats my only issue.

Good point about the infections. That's the second one what I have gotten since the summer. Very irregular for me.
