Rosacea and Seb derm

PreviousPage 6 of 14Next

I'm another guest. I didn't have rosacea before but now after eating a low VA diet for a while I have rosacea. It's probably just a detox thing for me, as I'm feeling better in every other way.

Hi guest,

How long u been on the VA diet and when did you get Rosacea? How bad is it? Jist mild redness or pastules as well?  I am. Curious about this

Ron

Also, in what ways did your health improve?

Day 11

Diet: same as usual except I did it a piece of ham today. I also cooked with a bit of ghee and coconut oil mix.

My naturopath is insisting on IV vitamin C therapy. I am considering it, maybe the only good thing she's for as I won't be buying her anti Candida pills she keeps insisting on along with the vitamin d and fish oil.

I’d probably be willing to try IV vitamin C if I had the option. The last couple days I’ve been experimenting with higher oral doses working towards bowel tolerance and it has seemed quite helpful. It is either speeding my healing or maybe it’s a coincidence and I’ve just had an extra good couple of days! Either way it has certainly not harmed me in any way. I did high dose vitamin C years ago and it was helpful then too but I obviously didn’t know about the A issue at the time. If you do the IV please let me know if it helps!

It starts appearing after a couple of weeks on the diet for me. I'm not sure it's rosacea as I have no familiarity to it but it looks like all the images you see if you google rosacea, same pattern in the face. It seems to appear in ever changing random spots all over my body as well. No pastules. My feet also seem to be shedding a lot of dead skin, I've had chronic athletes foot for as long as I can remember (still do), don't know if that's related.

To answer your second question, all of these things are better: eyesight, sleep, cognitive function, memory, sense of smell and touch, hearing (music and words are clearer), joints, energy levels, sexual health. And probably more stuff I can't remember right now.

Hmm sounds a little strange Rosacea is usually only on the face but I heard of people also getting red ears and red chest. I don't know if any 2 weeks diet is capable of triggering Rosacea. Sounds like detox to me. How long you been on the diet for now?

Day12 Xmas :

Same as usual. Cheated with tons of cookie and hot chocolate drink( both listed at 0 VA)  I also found a new oil to cook with. Grapeseed oil.

Day 13 and 14:

Diet more or less the same. I had a coke. Some fries. But really just the usual.

I noticed I got a few pimple ( not Seb derm jist acne)

I shaved today and again red patches and bloody pimples. Maybe slightly better than when I started but still there. I think I have done a lot of damage to my body last year and it's going to take longer than a few weeks to see any results.

Last year during my high vitamin A diet I have had gingivitis for the first time in life. My gums would bleed and few teeth had elevated gum

Today while I was checking it seems my front lower teeth( the 2 front teeth) have sunken and are elevated.

Could this be a detox? I am not sure

Day 15 Skin continues to be the same.

I just noticed I have the following detox symptoms now:

  • Foamy pee
  • Flu like symptoms still persisting (with no actual flu)
  • Gum sensitivy
  • Teeth abnormality
  • Joint pain shoulder ( could be unrelated as it was previously injured very recently)
  • Red eyes (could be because I been playing more videogames during the holidays)
  • Heavy dandruff but I always had dadnruff

Positives so far:

  • Skin might be slightly better but still way too early to confirm
  • Facial itching slightly reduced
  • Feet cramping reduced
  • Deeper sleep more dreams and able to recall dreams.
