The relationship between Vitamin A, Copper, Ceruloplasmin and Thyroid
Quote from Jiří on July 27, 2023, 12:06 pm@alexm I pay for everything. I don't want to deal with doctors. This was 90 euro. Which is not that much.. I know that for example in the US you even can't do blood test in some lab and pay for it or if you can it is expensive like crazy. At least this is ok here in Czech Republic. That you can do blood tests like that for decent money.. The only issue here is that nobody here does reverse T3 tests.. I really can't see the full picture without this number.. Anyway interesting quote from Gbold, but what to do with this info... I think everything like he is describing happens when metabolism is low and can't produce energy like me with low thyroid.. When I look back on my life I think I was hypothyroid my whole life. First 10-13 years of my life issues probably from my mother some toxicity+ bad diet deficient in key things and after that I think mercury from amalgams damaged my gut and I started having autoimmune issues from gluten, casein etc.. So thyroid was really low. Things started getting better when I was doing bodybuilding and fitness diet mostly rice, meat etc.. But I crashed hard from doing shift work in warehouse + stupid low calorie diet.. That was when I first had blodo work with TSH 12... After that I started taking T4 and also steroids. So high estrogen, high reverse T3 from taking T4 and doing lower calories all the time and overtraining, overworking.. So I can imagine that I was retaining copper like crazy. No bile flow at that point for years.. Will see if T3 can change something. I took first drop now with dinner. Wow it is strong alcohol that one drop. So far don't feel any magic.. 🙂

Quote from Orion on July 27, 2023, 1:10 pmEven microdoses of liquid T3 would give me extreme sleeping issues... Curious how you will make out, let us know @jiri
Insomnia always tells me when I am doing something wrong with supps or hormones.

Quote from Jiří on July 27, 2023, 10:38 pm@orion so far I took one drop with dinner and now one at 4 am and one at 7 am. I did not felt any different with that drop with dinner or now in the morning.. Will see I will take one drop every 2-3 hours and maybe that will slowly saturate my cells with T3 and after couple of days or so I will feel it.. I don't sleep good basically always when I push my body with physical stress or if I have some mental stress that is even worse for me.. I need to be really relaxed and well rested to have really good and deep sleep.. Which is hard to do when I need to work and when I stress about a lot of things in my life etc..

Quote from Jiří on July 28, 2023, 7:20 am@orion @alexm So I had 6 drops so far. One last night and 5 today one every 3 hours. Now I feel it. My body temperature is 36.8 degrees C/ 98.24 degrees F. I can't remember that I had BT high like that for years maybe decades.. Every time I was taking my BT it was like 36.5 most of the time.. Now It feels like every time I eat I really burn it and use it for energy.. That is only one day of taking it. Hopefully I will not end up with heart attack or something. 🙂 But so far I don't feel my heart beating fast or pounding.. I will take like 5-7 drops a day for now. Basically one every 3 hours.. But tomorrow I will ride bike for 160km. THere is a big race with Tour de France winner Chris Froome so I have to see him on the top of the mountain.. 🙂 Oh how I like cycling, but I know it is not good for me... 🙂 So I think I will skip taking it in the middle of the day. So I really don't end up with heart attack in the middle of nowhere lol..

Quote from Orion on July 28, 2023, 10:57 am@jiri good luck tomorrow!
One other note, when I worked up to 1 grain natural desiccated thyroid it would give my heart arrhythmia. I would get a delay then extra heart beat, would make me feel light headed. It would randomly happen throughout the day, so it was time to taper off and quit.

Quote from Jiří on July 29, 2023, 8:35 am@orion thx. So I did only 102km. There was bad weather in the mountains.. But I felt great. Was sweating a lot.. I think sports like cycling deplete T3 a lot. So for me it's really good to take some and saturate cells.. Just need to make sure I eat plenty of good food, enough calories.. But I do only cycling as endurance sport and mainly just in the summer when it's nice outside. I don't do other sports like running, cross country skiing or cycling even in the winter basically all year like most athletes do. I think that is not ideal for the body. It depletes it a lot.. I like winter to maybe just workout, but mostly just rest more and regenerate for the summer.. I think it is natural thing to do during the winter when it's dark at 5 pm already to just rest more, sleep more and not push the body all year non stop.. But at the same time I also feel like it's almost waste of time to be 6 months in a year inside all the time and to do nothing basically.. I would love to live somewhere where the winter is not so harsh.. Ideally next to the ocean heh..

Quote from Jiří on July 31, 2023, 11:00 pm@alexm what you think about Ivermectin? I am thinking about trying it. IT should kill all the bad bugs in the body, lymphatic system as well.. I know that I have issues with some parasites due to my "thick and dirty" lymphatic system and also white blood cells out of ranges..

Quote from Jiří on August 1, 2023, 11:09 am@orion Nice I will go as well. But in september when there will be less people and prices will go down.. But still I don't need hotel with all inclusive. I would love to work there just couple hours a day to have place to stay. Maybe I will look on some workaway..
