RE: I will follow TEIs chelation/mineral balancing programme properly as this actually attempts to correct and change the issues with the underlying biochemistry in the body.
Which program are you referring to? The one outlined by Dr. Wilson in this book? https://www.amazon.de/Nutritional-Balancing-Hair-Mineral-Analysis/dp/0962865710

Thank you. By the way, you got me interested in coffee enemas. I've been doing them for a month now, from one to six a day, most days three. Probably a bit early to tell, but they're calming, therapeutic (as in stirring up emotionally challenging stuff), and sitting under red infrared light for the twenty minutes is an added benefit. I'm not sure where this is going, at first I was even angry at myself for supposedly falling for yet another crazy health intervention (I felt so conflicted about them, I remember sitting in the living room after the first one, naked, with only my socks on, staring into space and thinking: You're crazy!). Coffee enemas seem to have a more mind-altering and emotionally healing effect on me than anything else. At least for now. Dr Wilson also talks about them in the context of healing trauma. There's definitely something to that.

Quote from Jiří on July 3, 2023, 8:23 am@christian 6 coffee enemas a day? That is crazy overkill. Unless you are in end stage of some disease and you have no time.. One a day is plenty..

Not for me. 🙂 But to be fair, it's usually more like three. It's also time-consuming, so six is the exception rather than the rule.

Quote from Alex on July 3, 2023, 10:22 pm@christian Thats good they’re helping if you can keep them up daily you will gradually start to notice a lot of improvements. But damn 6 in a day that’s a lot lol.
When I started taking Pectasol (MCP) separately to the enemas, that’s when I started noticing a world of difference in what I was detoxing from the enemas, it really seemed to unclog things with my liver. And it helped as a binder taking it either 1 hour before or directly after the enemas. Just don’t put it in the enema.
But I think putting Monolaurin inside the enemas, can also be really helpful with detoxing pathogens and viruses. Same with this Mega IGG 2000 immunoglobulin supplement.
I do think if you follow a proper mineral balancing programme with the supplement suggestions of TEI or ARL then you will also notice a big difference with the enemas in terms of detox.
Probably the most important thing is that you replenishing potassium and sodium levels afterwards. If you are following dr Wilson then he has actually has good advice about diet. Pressure cooking veg is probably the best way to get bioavailable potassium after the enemas more than any other food.

Quote from Jiří on July 19, 2023, 9:53 am@alexm So from US to CZ shipping was fast like 5 days. But it was in customs another 14 days. I had no idea that I need to go on their webside and fill some stuff like exactly what it is what material. Show them order, how much I paid etc.. and now I will pay another 36 dollars to customs lol.. But at least I ordered 2 bottles so hopefully it will work and last for some time. Btw I filled in the customs papers that it is "tincture in ethanol". 🙂 Anyway I will do blood tests before I start taking it and another blood tests after some time of taking it. It will be interesting to see if ceruloplasmin will change or other markers like lactate for example.. Right now I am working 40 hours a week in hobby market in wood/building materials section. So a lot of walking and lifting heavy things + on the weekends I ride bike like 2-3 hour rides(last week I did 6 hour ride(150km) on the highest hill here called Praděd..) So obviously I can somewhat function, BUT when I walk I feel like I am walking in water and like my muscles are full of lactic acid all the time. Hopefully T3 will fix this and most importantly it will kickstart bile flow..

Quote from Jiří on July 23, 2023, 7:40 amReally good post from some guy on Ray Peat forum.
People get Vitamin A toxicity for a combination of some of these reasons :
Low Thyroid Function = Thyroid hormones deplete Vitamin A stores as they increase the production of Retinoic acid to supply Ceruloplasmin. Acetaldehyde enzymes are only run when thyroid is up.
Ray Peat folk go on a high sugar diet = B1 deficiency and high sugar consumption can feed bad bacteria ,yeasts/fungi and mold in the microbiome and nearly all these pathogens produce either Acetalaldehyde or ethanol as byproducts which burden ALDH and ADH.
Pathogens also cause low NAD levels which are needed for ALDH and ADH enzymes. Fructose slows down ADH. Refined sugar depletes minerals and b vits needed to detox Vitamin A.
Low Glutathione status or poor glutathione recycling : Retinoic Acid increases metabolism and puts pressure on glutathione.
Vitamin A is unsaturated so it’s easily oxidised, so it’s like PUFA. Lower oxidation = Can make people feel better especially when they have poor glutathione recycling due to toxicities
Mineral imbalances and heavy metal toxicity means important organs like the liver, adrenals and thyroid can’t function properly. And important enzymes needed for Vitamin A metabolism won’t work either
Build up of aldehydes: Can be from overconsumption of carotenoids, yeasts and fungi producing acetylaldehyde, fermented foods.
Copper toxicity = Cholesatisis , weak adrenals, low thyroid, causes low potassium and mag levels, low ceruloplasmin, no bioavaliable copper to protect against pathogens, low zinc status needed for ALDH ,
Mold exposure in your home
Glyphosate exposure inhibits CYP enzymes which is needed for the catabolism of Vitamin A
Taking fat soluble Vits which slow down bile production and likewise with pharmaceuticals
Past Accutane use
Then finally overconsumption of Vitamin A or carotenoid foods and supplements with some of the above issues already presentIt makes so much sense to me. Especially this connection of thyroid, ceruloplasmin and vit A.. I can see how taking, eating a lot of vit A was a problem for me since I was hypothyroid most of my life. So keeping vit A low is a must for me, but it is not the root cause for me. Low thyroid is. What is the reason for low thyroid is another question..
