Bile excretion when having diarrhea?

PreviousPage 4 of 7Next

@jaj @orion thanks again. So I am confused, does the accutane leave the body quickly, Orion? Or is it trapped in the bile/liver somehow, JAJ? I think it makes sense that it is trapped somehow because how could it be causing such side effects if it left the body quickly?

Anyway, I agree that we were already vitamin A toxic in the first place so the vitamin A detox is necessary for us.

Hi @gonzalo i think it probably varies between people, depending on the efficiency of their detoxification systems & previous toxicity. So some people get rid of it quickly & others end up with it staying around causing damage.

My understanding is that as Accutane is a retinoic acid it needs to go through a few modifications before it is put into the urine or the bile. These can work efficiently or can go slowly depending on individual genetics & environment.

1. One is by an enzyme CYP26 & this is phase 1 liver detoxification & Stephanie Seneff talks about this being slowed by glyphosate.

2. Then the modified Accutane undergoes a process called glucoronidation. This is phase 2 liver detoxification. This can be efficient or slow. There are other ways as well such as binding to taurine but I think glucoronidation is the main one.

3. When the modified Accutane gets into the bile it’s still not out of the body. There is a process called enterohepatic circulation where 90% of the bile acid (& toxins) are reabsorbed. Soluble fibre & other binders are the things that escorts the toxic bile out of the body & prevent them being absorbed. I would think liver flushes do the same thing.

Therefore I hope I’ve explained it ok & you can see that there are lots of places where things can go slowly & much individual variation. Also I guess while the body is trying to detox all the Accutane it wouldn’t have much capacity left to detox other vitamin A or aldehydes so they could build up too & create more problems. I would think that eating lots of vA etc while taking Accutane wouldn’t be a good idea if liver storage capacity was already quite full as it could overflow.

@are I would just follow the one I posted, many many people have done it and it is a trusted method.

The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush Protocol (And My SHOCKING Results)

The short of it below,  but read the full blogpost, malic acid is suggest daily the week leading up, to soften any stones.

1)Epsom salt preparation at 6pm and 8pm

2)Oil at 10pm, to bed right away

3)Epsom salt preparation at 6am and 8am

4)Stay close to a toilet! 🙂

@are I don't think it is necessary to go low calorie for the week, but rather keep fat intake relatively lower, and just eat lightly the day of the flush, you can take malic acid in pill form.  This part of the reason why I stopped doing them, scheduling them in a busy life can get inconvenient.

I have read through all the threads and arguments like you have 🙂  But from what I understand it is the oil that causes the bile purge, seen many suggestions that just doing the large oil intake without epsom can be helpful.  The magnesium just causes a huge muscle relaxation, so it gives a major laxative effect, not sure how large amounts of bile would be released in that scenario.

I think what is missing from the flush instructional posts, is a binder to collect and not allow re-circulation of the toxins.   Charcoal or some other fiber...

@are @orion Orion, do you think the malic acid preparation is necessary? To me it sounds like those other things he says that make him look like a charlatan, when in fact, many other things he says are excellent and useful.

I agree with you that the intake of oil is what gets the bile going (In fact, I speculated that just the epsom salt would bring many benefits due to the diarrhea it causes, but in general I try to do them with the olive oil phase too, although a few times I have done just the epsom salts).

What I eat before a liver flush is: I eat my regular carnivore diet and the day before I stop eating in the evening and the day of the flush do not eat anything until 6pm when the first epsom salt is scheduled.

I do not know if the stones are legit or not, what I know is that I have improved my symptoms after doing several of them, so I will keep doing them.

@gonzalo not sure if malic is necessary, probably doesn't hurt, I have some in pill form so used that.  But like I mentioned before I was doing flushes while I was definitely filled with VA and still eating a high VA diet, so the flushes probably helped, but I didn't really see any absolute positives at the time.  I really should give them some more experimentation time now that I am low VA.  Maybe I will test one on Sunday and take a huge amount of charcoal with the oil part at 10pm.

@are

As to the timings: they are not there for convenience but to take advantage of the cycles of activation of the different organs. The liver and the rest do not work 100% all the time. The timings follow this.

As to the stones, legit or not. They cannot be just olive oil because my husband and I produced stones for about the 50 first flushes we did (during three or more years - same protocol @orion described ), then the stones stopped coming, even though we were using the same protocol, and have not reappeared during the following years (we do about two flushes per year now with no visible result).

@orion Same here, we felt better but kept with a high vA diet, maybe even increasing the amount of vA! Most probably to stop detoxing!!!

@ourania I am going to start doing them every two weeks starting this weekend, see what the effect is on very low VA after 2 years.  Going to add taking charcoal with the oil though, I think having a binder would be important to block the re-circulation.

Re the stones, I would think that olive oil is liquid at room temperature and epsom is a solution, and that the flush is basically liquid coming out, how would the oil and salt solution form crystals at a higher body temperature?  Does magnesium and oil cause crystals at room temperature, if mixed in a bottle?   either way I can only think positives would come from dumping out large amounts of bile and hopefully passing most of it out of the body... I kind of agree they must be be stones or sludgy bile.

@are You could use castor oil instead of olive oil? It is much lighter in color than olive oil, but is known to have a laxative effect on its own. If you try it, be cautious...the combination of castor oil and that much epsom salt could be much worse than using the olive oil in terms of stomach cramps and diarrhea. I would also use organic castor oil if you want to try it out.

You can also look into a castor oil cleanse. It can clean out your intestines, should stimulate bile flow and will have a laxative effect all in one. Just a thought.

@are I think it has been said that taking that amount oil is impossible to absorb it all, so hopefully the carotenoid content won't have that much of a negative effect.  This is also another reason I want to try the flush with lots of charcoal at the same time as taking the oil, for a binder effect.
