@jiri I do the same just mix pure white salt with KCl

@orion ah ok. 🙂

Had colonoscopy completed this week, few polyps removed with one being large, sent away for biopsy.  Other than that thumbs up.

Yep good news @puddleduck was able to have the follow-up discussion with doctor, I'm clear of any cancer, and will do a follow colonoscopy in year, to see were I stand.   I know you were having issues with eggs and stopped, I will continue with them and see how things look in a year, that easy access choline should be helping me.

I have to wonder if 4yrs hardcore low VA damaged intestinal lining, or the damage was there previously, see what is up in a year!

Thanks for checking in!

Ah that’s such a relief! I’m glad to hear that @orion. Must be good to have that peace of mind.

Totally makes sense. You’d be remiss not to wonder that, really... I’m crossing my fingers your increase in choline intake does indeed help your gut over the next year, and leads to greater sleep improvements, too! 🤞 I mean, since the brain really needs choline for memory and stuff, it makes sense reversing a deficiency in it would improve sleep? Not sure there’s much research on that specifically (I read a few related articles), but it’d be great if that extrapolation is true and applies in your case. 😁

Sleep needs methylation and B5. Choline supplies one of the methylation factors. @naveen and her husband reported much better sleep from eating eggs. In theory the eggs should help. I'm still blaming the start of strong detox from beans for disrupting my sleep. With the eggs I do get some deep sleep and dreams so it's definitely improving. I'm perhaps low in B5 still despite eating more B5 foods.

Hope are well and still out there.   I'm looking for your thoughts on lymphedema, seems not curable, but massage is the way to go.  I think you mentioned in past, you worked to fix or drain blockages you had with massage decongestive therapy.

@orion hi I think that massage will not solve anything if your kidneys having hard time for example due to issues with acidosis etc.. On Ray Peat forum there was interesting talk recently about pH balance and I think my issues with very thick lymph and when I look at my urine low filtration(no sediment often water like urine..) so kidneys having hard time detoxing. I think I pushed my body into acidosis all the time. Especially with my high sodium chloride intake + I was using magnesium chloride. Chlorides are acidic.. and also my grain/meat diet basically low in alkaline minerals. Also he was talking about the same stuff like Gbolduev that when you are not active and you eat good amount of carbs you lower your metabolism and make the body acidic because you don't breath out CO2 so the body doesn't make new CO2 so there is more lactic acid etc. instead.. So now I am trying for the first time magnesium citrate(the body makes bicarbonate from citrates) and have some potassium citrate as well. But ideally I simply need more alkaline minerals in my diet especially potassium, magnesium and calcium. Maybe my bicarbonate is low and that's why the body can produce bile? I am not sure, but bile is alkaline because contains bicarbonate right? So more alkaline minerals, les acid forming and most importantly not eat a lot of carbs if I don't do anything and just sit on my ass which I do a lot now during the winter.. No wonder I felt like shit I was eating like 400-500g of carbs from rice, oats, beans, sorghum etc. that's ridiculous. Also started eating nuts like pistachios. All that copper it was horrible idea. Now I back to only white rice, some oats, corn polenta a fruit and much less carbs if I am not active. It makes sense. Young kids can handle loads of sugar, athletes as well. But when you do nothing and eat a lot of sugar you are just creating problems.. I But my biggest problem is still bad environment and chronic stress that's for sure. I am saying that for like 2 years now that I need to move to different place, to have less stressful job, stay away from internet, EMF etc.. Just be more present, more in nature grounding, walking, meditating.. It is vicious circle for me. I am waiting to get better co I can move and completely change my life, but how can I get better when the environment where I live now is making me more and more sick. I feel exactly like Theoden in LOTR 2 before Gandalf came and freed him..

Hi Orion!    I think you one of the first people who greeted me here on this site!   thank you for that.   At the time you said you were 7 months into it.   So we both have been at this a long time!

I just did a quick search on this site about lymph and came up with a thread in which Ourania participated.    She was talking about breath being important.   Along those lines, Tim chimed in and wondered if all of us being indoors and taking in one another's waste products isn't so great in winter.   I've always thought that there was some sort of connection between tuberculosis and VA.    One of the things I've learned doing family history is that people packed humans into homes at an alarming concentration back in the olden days.    Porch therapy was the go-to for trying to help people with TB before antibiotics.   They even slept outside.

I also once watched a video about a person with terminal cancer who went with a trifold "alternative" plan along with some meds (not heavy, because why bother? she was terminal).    Her alternative plan was uplifting prayer, strong THC, and a *rebounder*.   (daily usage of a tiny trampoline). She chose the rebounder to purposefully move lymph.   She lived.

In the last year I've sort of "retired" from hard-core homesteading.    I notice that I sleep much better on nights after I get outside and do some exercise.  I wonder if my past homesteading has helped with my ridiculous VA intake.   People have wondered if Liver King's outdoor and exercise-heavy lifestyle has helped keep stay alive despite his scary meat of choice.

I do think that lymphatic massage does help.   Once, early on, it even sent me into "I've been poisoned" mode.    I guess I over did it.     I tend to especially do it when something hurts.   Sore neck?   Brush away from it toward heart.    At least we can try to keep it moving along.   I think lymphatic massage helps with restless leg and foot cramps too.

Just now reading about tight clothing made me think about my hatred of bras.    Smart idea not to do tight clothing.   Perhaps it even explains why people these days wear PJ's 24/7.    Compression socks seem like a horrible idea to me, but what do I know?

It's a long road!     Hope this helps.
